For sales teams and lead buyers
Phone number validation for leads
Catch fake and mistyped phone numbers the moment a lead comes in, before your team spends time dialing them. Each lead also gets its line type and carrier saved with the contact.
No card required to start your trial.
Why check leads as they arrive
Stop chasing dead numbers
Flag numbers like 555-555-5555, 123-456-7890 and area codes that don’t exist before anyone picks up the phone. How fake number checks work.
Fix typos on the spot
With the API, check the number as your form is submitted and ask the person to correct it before they leave.
Spot bad lead sources
See which sources or vendors send fake numbers, so you can raise problems while the leads are still fresh.
How it works
- A lead comes in from your web form, landing page or lead vendor.
- The number is checked automatically. Connect through an integration like HubSpot or Zapier, or call the API from your own form or app.
- The result is saved on the contact. Your team sees the fake-number flag, line type and carrier right in your CRM.
- Fake numbers get set aside. Tag them for review or ask the lead for a corrected number.

What you get for each lead
- Fake number flag
- Whether the number is fake or invalid, and why.
- Line type
- Cell phone, landline, VoIP or toll-free.
- Carrier
- The phone company, when it’s available.
- Location
- Where the number was first assigned, based on its area code.
A VoIP or unknown result does not mean the number is invalid. Plenty of real people and businesses use VoIP.
What validation doesn’t cover
We check the number, not the person. A result doesn’t confirm who owns the number, whether a call or text will get through, or whether you have permission to contact someone. Handle consent and Do Not Call checks separately. Learn more about validation vs. verification.
